Reference errors on 10 March
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the List of awards and nominations received by Adele page, your edit caused a broken reference name (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:24, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
June 2016
[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of awards and nominations received by Adele, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. State something other than "fake", which should justify the removal of a perfectly notable award. FrB.TG (talk) 10:12, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
Please stop adding FAKE Awards to Adele page & stop harassing others users... you need to spend a little more time reading , before pressing delete. I did give a Valid reason..but because I wont give you Stars you removed! Why are you adding Fake awards & deleting Real ones? ....I did not just say it was Fake I listed the award website. Adele Glamour Awards June 2016 , She did not win any award you listed her for & there was No Such Award in 2016. Pauseypaul (talk)
London, England
[edit]Hi.
Just to let you know (per the Adele page), I wasn't in any way confused as to whether England was in the UK or the UK was in England, I was removing England because another editor had changed her intro from English to British because they think people can't be English on Wikipedia, just British. So it seemed more consistent to have that she was born in the UK (making her British) than England (which suggests she would be introduced as English). But since you have changed it back to how it was before, I have also changed the intro back to what it was before for the sake of consistency.

List of most viewed YouTube videos
[edit]Hi, I made that edit because the current phrase "In June 2015" is ambiguous. It can mean the beginning of June, the end of June, etc. And in the latter case, the following statement would be wrong, see the discussion here. Gap9551 (talk) 01:31, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
25
[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 25 (Adele album), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Do not remove sourced sales from any article. And also don't add this, purposefully adding a link to IRMA website, when there has been no certification displayed for the album. —IB [ Poke ] 09:49, 23 November 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Lucy Bronze
[edit]- Same at Lucy Bronze. Don't make this more of a habit, consider this message a disruptive editing warning. Kingsif (talk) 18:49, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
- No not the Same at Lucy Bronze. The Vice reference link does not have a comment from Bronze & it is clearly just Tagging her in four times at the bottom of the article to get people to out Lucy, which is not the place of Wikipedia to do. I do not feel that this was disruptive. Have you read the talk page the Vice comment was added by a sockpuppet how is it still on the page? Pauseypaul (talk) 23:59, 12 September 2022 (UTC)

Players clubs "as of"
[edit]Hi, this is just to give clarity and ask a question. I have reverted a few 'club updates' at the England women's national football team article (not just Nobbs) because both the current list and the recent call-ups list are dated, and that date is in the past. Your revert reason seems to think I removed her as no longer being in the England squad, maybe, though I didn't. To give a more complete explanation than an edit reason will allow: I based my edits - to retain the player club at the time of the list's date (i.e. the last game they were called up for England) - on the under-X lists and various squad lists for historic tournaments doing the same. If there are other players whose clubs are 'too recent' for when they last played for England, the same would need to be done (but I think Daly moved before), in my interpretation. Of course, I said to please revert me if the (for lack of a better descriptor) main squad list always includes players' current clubs, even if the person hasn't been called up since a move. And, if there isn't a standard and you think the clubs should be updated anyway, I am open to that discussion. Thanks, Kingsif (talk) 03:03, 6 January 2023 (UTC)

[edit]You've used the phrase "a professional Wikipedian with 50k+ edits under this name." Who is that about? CityOfSilver 17:23, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
Using non standard characters
[edit]Can you stop using non standard characters like the those from the mathematical bold character set to type English text as you did here [1] and in many other comments? Doing so may break screenreaders or otherwise cause WP:accessibility problems and may also cause problems for search engines and potentially may even fail to display on some extremely old or low end devicess. If you need to format your text, please use the normal character set with standard formatting using wiki markup such as using '''three consecutive apostrophes''' for bold text or ''two consecutive apostrophes'' for italic text. See Help:Formatting for more help. Nil Einne (talk) 12:25, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
- I have no idea how the mathematical plus character appeared, I merely typed into LibreOffice 7.4 copied and posted a reply.
- ‘‘‘Thank you for the helpful links’’’ I think. Pauseypaul (talk) 13:54, 31 July 2023 (UTC)
